The Palić Water Tower, located next to the main road, is also today a symbol of Palić. It’s hard to imagine a Palić postcard without a water tower on it.
The tower was built in the early 20th century when the Palić spa was rebuilt. The architects of the new tourist facilities at the time envisioned the Palić spa being entered through a solemn entrance, a masterfully carved gate, more precisely through the Palić Water Tower.
By the main alley you continue your way to the lake through the Great Park. The first seeds of the park were planted by the locals back in 1840. Today, the Great Park and the Water Tower represent the monumental value of Palić.
